Welcome is the Managing Consultant of Intellego Investment Consultants (Pvt) Ltd, an investment advisory firm focused on providing investment solutions to institutional investors.
He boasts over 20 years’ experience in investment research, corporate advisory, risk analysis and fund management in Zimbabwe and the region. Welcome holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation and is an active volunteer with the CFA Institute. He is the founding President of the Investment Professionals Association of Zimbabwe, a grouping of CFA Charterholders in Zimbabwe. He is also an Associate Member with the Chartered Governance and Accountancy Institute in Zimbabwe.

I have 12 years property development, valuation, management and investment experience having worked for Real Estate, Financial Services and Property Investment sectors. I am a holder of an MBA; MSc in Rural and Urban Planning; BSc Rural and Urban Planning majoring in Building Economics; Executive Certificate in Investments and Portfolio Management, Diploma in Surveying and Certificates in Project Management. I am a Chartered Valuation Surveyor with the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors, Registered Valuer with Valuers Council of Zimbabwe and Registered Estate Agent. My areas of interest include property valuation, feasibility, analysis and investment (purchases and disposals), driving corporate real estate strategic, property development and construction project management.
Kundai has more than 16 years progressive experience as an Investment Banker within Zimbabwean & Regional capital markets having worked for a merchant bank, a finance house, a private equity firm and a ZSE listed investment holding company. He is responsible for the regulatory review and analysis of all corporate actions on all exchanges, research, analysis and assessment of new capital market products in the context of capital market development.
Humphrey Zinyuke is the Principal Estate Agent for the Borrowdale branch of the Rawson Properties Zimbabwe franchise. He is a member of the Estate Agents Council of Zimbabwe. He has over 5 years experience in the Estate Agency business, specializing in Property Sales and Operations Management. Humphrey has a unique blend of credentials from different disciplines, being a holder of a BSc and a Masters Degree from the University of Zimbabwe and Africa University respectively. He is currently pursuing Certified Franchise Executive status with the International Franchise Association (IFA), as well as a Law Degree with the University of London.
Mr Manyowa is the Managing Director for First Mutual Properties Limited, a subsidiary of First Mutual Holdings Limited. He joined the company in June 2012 as a General Manager – Developments. Mr Manyowa later assumed the position of General Manager – Property Services. He holds a BSc Rural & Urban Planning Honours degree as well as Master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA), both from the University of Zimbabwe. Mr Manyowa started his working career in the public service as a Town Planner. He later worked for Kadoma City Council and Ruwa Local Board before joining National Real Estate. Prior to joining First Mutual Properties, Mr Manyowa was Head of Property Development with Old Mutual Property.
Progress has over 13 years’ experience in the real estate sector. She holds a BSc degree in Rural and Urban Planning from the University of Zimbabwe, she has a Master’s degree in Business Administration from the National University of Science and Technology and a diploma in real estate management from the Real Estate Institute of Zimbabwe. She is a registered Estate Agent and an active member of the Estate Agent’s Council. Progress has extensive experience in the real estate sector having previously worked with CBRE Ellis, Old Mutual Zimbabwe in management roles. She is currently employed as the Head of Property Management for Mashonaland Holdings Limited, a ZSE listed property concern. She has a wealth of professional and industry experience from her notable engagements in the real estate sector.
Stuart Van De Ruit is the director and shareholder of The Steel Building Company P/L, Tracking P/L and Car Guard P/L. He has over 30 years’ experience in steel manufacture and fabrication, and concrete buildings for mining, agriculture, commercial and industry. He founded the company in 1989 with his partner, formerly known as Car Guard Construction, then specialising in catering for the agricultural industry then diversified into supplying steel structures for mining, industrial and commercial sectors in in Zimbabwe, Zambia, South Africa and Mozambique.
Tinashe is a CFA Charterholder and holder of a B. Com honours degree in Finance. He is the head of depository services at the Zimbabwe Stock Exchange. He is a Finance and Investment Professional with over 12 years’ experience in the Capital Markets having worked for TN Asset Management, MMC Capital and Chengetedzai Depository Company in various capacities prior to joining ZSE.
I have wide experience in property finance gained over three decades in the Building Society industry in Zimbabwe as senior executive of the Central Africa Building Society (CABS), a subsidiary of the Old Mutual Group. I have had exposure to various management situations encompassing operations, information technology, finance and general management. Since retirement in 2015, I have remained active as Executive Secretary of the Zimbabwe Association for Housing Finance. I am a Fellow of the Institute of Bankers of South Africa and I hold a Master of Science degree in Strategic Management.
Christabel obtained her LLB degree from the University of the Witwatersrand in 2014. Armed with a strong background in civil litigation, she joined the firm as part of the Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) and Litigation Practice Group. Christabel gradually diversified into the practice of Real Estate and Property Development Law and is currently part of the Real Estate Practice Group, with a key focus on the Real Estate Litigation portfolio. Christabel has also spearheaded the development of the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and Pro Bono Department at Manokore Attorneys and continues to aim towards sustained professional growth.
Farai Mwakutuya is an award-winning journalist with over 16 years experience in broadcast journalism, public relations, marketing and advertising in Zimbabwe and East Africa. Since 2011 he has been the correspondent for China Global Television (China’s National TV) covering Zimbabwe and Zambia. He is a current affairs producer/presenter on ZiFM Stereo, specializing in business, finance and parliamentary affairs. He has previously worked for East Africa’s largest media conglomerate, Nation Media Group, as a news anchor on NTV Uganda. Mwakutuya is an accomplished and sought-after Director of Ceremonies and Moderator and has worked on a number of high profile events including the recent Mining Investment Conference (Feb 2018), President Private Sector interface.
Charity Chirume is a development manager for Terrace Africa Zimbabwe. She is responsible for the conceptual planning and project delivery of retail malls in Zimbabwe’s major towns. Prior to her current role, Charity provided project management services for Zimbabwe Electricity Industry Pension Fund’s mega retail, office and warehousing projects. Charity has a strong interest in strategizing for sustainable retail centres in developing countries. She is a quantity surveying graduate from National University of Zimbabwe, holds post graduate diplomas in Construction Law from University of Pretoria and Project management from Project Management Zimbabwe.
Kura Chihota is General Manager, CBRE Excellerate Zimbabwe. He is a seasoned property professional with experience across property development, asset management especially in listed real estate environment. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce from University of the Witwatersrand, and attended the Real Estate Management Program at Harvard Business School. He has served as Chairman of Investment Committee on the Boards of two listed real estate companies in South Africa and consulted in Zimbabwe and Botswana.
